WHAT WE BELIEVE
At All Saints Episcopal Church, we follow the Christian faith in the Anglican tradition, grounded in Scripture, tradition, and reason. We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and center our worship on the sacraments, especially the Holy Eucharist, which we celebrate each Sunday. Guided by the Book of Common Prayer, our services reflect both ancient rhythms and present-day relevance. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, understood through prayer, community, and reflection. At All Saints, all are welcome—no matter your story, background, or questions. We value shared leadership between clergy and laypeople, with a commitment to listening, growing, and serving together. Our faith is expressed through grace, love, and action—seeking justice, caring for creation, and loving our neighbors. We strive to live as a people of hope, rooted in Christ and open to the movement of the Holy Spirit.
Confirmation
At All Saints Episcopal Church, confirmation is a sacred and meaningful step in your faith journey—a public affirmation of your baptismal vows and commitment to follow Christ. This sacrament involves the laying on of hands by a bishop and prayer for the strengthening of the Holy Spirit in your life. Those seeking confirmation must be baptized, instructed in the Christian faith, penitent, and ready to affirm Jesus as Savior and Lord. Adults baptized by a bishop are confirmed at the time of baptism, while those confirmed or baptized at a mature age in another denomination are received into the Episcopal Church through a similar rite. At All Saints, we encourage all baptized adults to be confirmed or received when they feel ready, with preparation led by our Priest in Charge and ceremonies typically held during the bishop’s visit to our parish.
